Jane Austen Soap Duo | The Pocket Austen

Two bars of soap inspired by Jane Austen's best-loved novels, Sense and Sensibility and Pride & Prejudice. Sense and Sensibility is warm ginger with lavender. Pride & Prejudice is rose geranium, soft and floral. Both are scented with essential oils alone.

Each bar is made by hand in small batches, using COSMOS-certified organic oils and butters. The lather is soft and creamy, and it leaves skin feeling fresh and loved.

The pair comes wrapped in green paper and tied with paper twine, with a postcard carrying a Jane Austen quote. If you're sending it directly to someone as a gift, we'll handwrite the postcard for you.

Product Care & Ingredients

To keep your soap at its best before use, store it in a cool, dry spot with good air circulation, away from sunlight and humidity. Historically, soaps were often tucked into linen closets to gently scent fabrics.

To make your soap last longer, keep it dry between uses by placing it on a well-draining soap dish. For high-traffic areas, like a hand basin, consider halving the bar with a knife and using one piece at a time.
