Little Women

Soft and soothing, our Pure Unscented Soap is inspired by Louisa May Alcott's dearly loved, Little Women. This gentle, nourishing soap is crafted with organic cocoa butter, olive oil, and avocado oil, to create a bar suitable for even the most sensitive skin. A simple, unscented luxury, it evokes the warmth, care, and purity found in the Alcott sisters’ close-knit family bond. 

Natural scent:
Your soap will have a very subtle, creamy aroma—soft, clean, and slightly wholesome from the oils and butters themselves - cocoa butter has a faint, chocolate aroma. It’s gentle and comforting, with no overpowering notes.

Assessed as safe from birth (0+) and during pregnancy. For newborns, we recommend waiting until after 6 weeks, as commonly advised by midwives.

All our soap products are handmade in small batches, using a traditional cold process method. Use at the basin, bath, or shower. 

Avocado Oil: A deeply conditioning oil, rich in essential fatty acids. In cold process soap, it lends creaminess and gentle moisturising qualities — especially suited to dry or sensitive skin.

Cocoa Seed Butter: A luxurious, rich butter that brings soothing qualities and velvety lather. Its fatty acid content helps condition and protect.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil: A traditional favourite, packed with skin-loving compounds. It helps create a mild, creamy lather that’s kind to the skin’s natural barrier.

Apricot Kernel Oil: Light and nourishing, this oil contributes to a gentle bar. Naturally high in vitamins A and E, it's ideal for soft, smooth-feeling skin.

Mango Seed Butter: Smooth and non-greasy, this vitamin-rich butter adds silkiness to the lather and supports skin softness without heaviness.

To keep your soap at its best before use, store it in a cool, dry spot with good air circulation, away from sunlight and humidity.

To make your soap last longer, keep it dry between uses by placing it on a well-draining soap dish. For high-traffic areas, like a hand basin, consider halving the bar with a knife and using one piece at a time.

Each bar of soap weighs a minimum of 125 grams and measures approximately 8cm (l) x 6.5cm (w) x 2.5 cm(d). As a handmade soap, you may find each bar varies a little in shape and colour.
